JULIA ROBERTS

Julia Roberts is not only the highest paid actress in Hollywood, she is also the first on my list of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. Her girl-next-door appearance has see her come a long way from her screen debut in the 1980s.

Julia was born on 28, October, 1967 in Smyrna, Georgia. She appeared in a couple of made-for-TV movies and one low-budget feature, Firehouse (1987), before getting her first real break in the made-for-cable drama Satisfaction (1988).

Her portrayal in 1989’s Steel Magnolias got her an Oscar nomination.

However it was Pretty Woman that consolidated her position. Rest as they say was history. The films that followed suite were Dying Young, Hook, The Player, The Pelican Brief, Mary Reilly, My Best Friend's Wedding, Stepmom, Erin Brockovich (which won her the Golden Globes' Best Actress and the Best Actress Oscar).

MEG RYAN

This blue-eyed beauty was born in Fairfield, Connecticut on November 19, 1961. Raised in New York, she studied Journalism at the New York University.

She started her acting career on television and set her foot firmly in films with the romantic comedy When Harry Met Sally. Her first film appearance, however, was Top Gun (where she played the wife of Anthony – Tom Cruise’s best friend).

Her notable films are Sleepless in Seattle (she was nominated for a Golden Globe), When A Man loves a Woman, Courage Under Fire, Addicted to Love, You’ve Got Mail and City of Angels.

Although Meg Ryan has mostly acted in romantic films, she has shown a different approach to every role making it a memorable one.

MICHELLE PFIEFFER

Michelle is picture-perfect beautiful and is probably one of the few heroines to have maintained her ‘look’ over so many years.

She was born on April 29, 1957, in Santa Ana, CA. She got her first brush with fame in her late teens, when she won both the Miss Orange County beauty contest and then the title of Miss Los Angeles.

Pfeiffer made her debut in the TV series Fantasy Island and debuted on the big screen in Falling in Love Again (1980).

Her filmography includes films like Dangerous Liaisons, Married to the Mob, The Fabulous Baker Boys, Frankie And Johnny, Batman Returns, The Age of Innocence, and One Fine Day.

CAMERON DIAZ

Model-turned-actress Cameron Diaz made her first screen debut in The Mask. Born in San Diego, California on August 30, 1972, Diaz had left school at sixteen to become a model.

Her next big break was in My Best Friend’s Wedding which led to There’s Something About Mary. She was also part of the trio in Charlie’s Angels. And has recently acted in a grey character in the flick Vanilla Sky.

RENEE ZELLWEGER

Renee first got noticed in Jerry Maguire opposite Tom Cruise in 1996 inspite of being working since 1993. She had made her feature film debut in Dazed and Confused (1993).

Born in Texas on 25 April, 1969

Following the success of Jerry Maguire, she went on to prove herself as a versatile actress in a variety of roles ranging from an ambitious journalist in One True Thing (1998) to a rebellious Hassidic Jew in Boaz Yakin's A Price Above Rubies (1998). She also starred in The Bachelor (1999), Nurse Betty (which won her the Best Actress in a Comedy award at the 2000 Golden Globes) and Me, Myself and Irene.
