The list of comedy movies which I am going to discuss may not click to you as the best.
But believe me this list below are the movies which should have got attention but were trashed under our hypo critic Indian society which will appreciate black comedies from the west like AMERICAN PIE but never appreciate a good work in the same field in Bollywood unless a huge star is linked to it (example: Delhi belly). Anyway, I love these movie.
NOTE: if you want to watch these movie either download it or rent or buy the CD’s, don’t watch on any movie channel as they have cut down the most hilarious portions of the movies
STYLE: May be this is the movie which restarted the trend of BLACK COMEDY in Bollywood, today when you watch it you wont recognize it as black comedy but at the time of the release it was a bold attempt. Loved the way the humor was served in the movie, also appreciate that this was a hilarious movie with a very good story line as well. Its story of 2 young over smart college going boys who get stuck in a murder charge. Sharman joshi was introduced in the movie, had a very good music as well.
Box office :average
Best scene : sting operation of the friend for a date with a girl.
EXCUSE ME: A flop movie but I will rate it much higher than the stupid Rohit shetty flickers.
Excuse me is sequel to SYTLE, is a story of struggle of the 2 boys after college for job and rich girls. Story wise it actually is a collection of hilarious scenes, but comedy portions are stronger than STYLE. Again sharman joshi has given a good performance, also sahil khan is not bad. Its a good popcorn entertainer which will make you laugh.
Box office : flop
Best scene: Mr.Gill with Nada dhill in bedroom (sharman joshi as a girl)
PRAN JAAYE PAR SHAAN NA JAAYE : In a true sense it’s a GAVTHI INDIAN BLACK COMEDY, it has lots of hindi colorful language used, lots of abusive words used, but it was supposed to be like that. It is a very hilarious movie with some very good performances from Vijay raaz and company, its is story of a chawl in Mumbai where a builder wants to make complex but the people in the chawl resist, if you watch it as adult comedy it is really good.
Beware it has some vulgar scenes as well so don not watch it with family.

Best scene : makarand anaspure explaining the movie “khabhi chiiki kabhi chewing gum”
KYA KOOL HAI HUM: An awesomely made BLACK COMEDY, with loads of laughter moments.
Its s kind of movie where you will laugh out your lungs at most places. Its story of 2 young boys who are good for nothing. One of the boy always is faulting about his fake “ONE NIGHT STANDS” while the other is honest person looking for his “DIL PE TILLWALI LADKI”. Performance wise its completely belong to 2 people , 1st ritesh deshmukh and the 2nd ISHA KHOPIKAR, she is the best in the movie, an awesome performance , should atleast have got a nomination for best actress for this, she has lived the character. A special mention to the dialogue writer, screenplay writer and the director….AWESOME.
One minus point is the MUSIC ….it was bad and came in as a disturbance in the movie…
this movie was a hit at box office but the credit for that goes to the business genius "EKTA KAPOOR", other wise this movie would have again went unnoticed.

Best scene : the police officer videoshooting tushar kappor.
ONE TWO THREE : Again one of the most hilarious BLACK COMEDY ever made. It is about three people having the same name which get into a mistaken identity plot for three different works provided to three of them…ending in a diamond hunt…CONFUSED???…then watch it. Again some really good performances from the cast…..mukesh tiwari, paresh rawal, murli Sharma, vrijesh hirjee....but the stand out performers of the movie are 1st sunil shetty and 2nd is neetu chandra…both have given terrific performances…its complete laugh riot, keep your brains aside and watch this one its, really funny and silly.
Negative point is again the music which s bad and interrupts in the movie.
