1 & 2(tie):

Lata mangeshkar:

The all time favorite. No one can reach that height.

Among her songs, (as per me) her songs in 80's are the best.

Eg: songs from hero, betaab, raam teri ganga maili and sargam to list a few.

Of course, there are hundreds of favorite songs still to follow.

Alka yagnik:

Boss, I dont know about pitch, variations and all technical terms. But, when I like a song

I dont think upon why I liked the song. And when I analyzed as to whose songs I have listened the most and would like to listen again and again, this name came at the top of list along with lata.

Favorite songs that come to mind right now are from tere naam, saajan and qayamat se qayamat tak.

Incredibly romantic, melodious, pleasing, soft and just magical voice. I am into habit of getting to sleep only after listening her lori(her songs).

  1. Anuradha: the intensity of her voice is brilliant.

The instant favorite song is: tum ne rakh to li tasveer hamari.

She was brilliant in 80's and early 90's.

  1. Sadhana sargam:

Saat samundar paar main tere.

Kuch tere dil ne kaha.

And more and more memorable songs.

I get very sentimental while listening to her. Soft and pleasing voice. She will not raise her voice unnecessary and on medium tone she is incredibly sweet.

  1. Sunidhi chauhan:

Josh and junoon together.

Listen to.

Hai ishq to ishq to. Gale se laga le. Mahive.mohabata sachia. Sajna di vari vari.and more and more songs still live into action. Sunidhi is the pioneer of starting a new era in play back singing. Her voice is electric and full of passion at the same time not losing the melody.
