What a Finish!!. Review on Five Best Climax Scenes in Tamil Cinema

Climax is the difference between a hit movie and a blockbuster.It can catapult a film from the depths of mediocrisity to a sensational hit.Presenting my pic of  best climaxes(not in any order).If u dont like it, go to hell.

Paruthuveeran-The climax is really hard hitting and the rape scene was brilliantly short and stupendously enacated.I am expecting a national award for priyamani and a filmfare for karthi for their brilliant performances.

Nayagan-"A man who lives by the sword dies by the sword".So it was a perfect ending for velu as his first murder confronts him in the form of the mad man(policeman's son).As Kamal lies in the dust with a fly hovering over his nose, we can't help but appreciate a lifetime performance from the veteran.It is as if he has given his life and soul into the role.

Anniyan- The climax elevated the status of this movie from a hit to a blockbuster.Vikram rocks!

Anbe Sivam-A brilliant kamal performance again and great charecterisations, this movie even though was given a cold shoulder at the box office will always remain a classic in Indian Cinema.The climax scene where the hitman repents for his sins and kamal says "I see God in U".Its a job well done.

Iruvar-This movie is a reflection of Tamil nadu politics and was made aeons ahead of its time and can now serve as a reference for any one who is interested in poloitics of Tamilnadu and about knowing the meteoric rise of power using cinema as a medium of two of the most influential persons in Tamil nadu.As Anandan's funeral procession is led out, filled with mass of people, Prakashraj sits in the place where they had discussed their dreams and mouths some great dialogues.This movie is for someone who is genuienly interested in quality movies.

Moondram Pirai-Need we say more?

Annamalai-A climax ripped off from die hard, u could feel ur ears going numb with the cheers of the audience when rajni says-"i am a bad, man"

Vaali-Ajit was catapulted to fame primarily with this movie, and he was brilliant throughout.

Mudhalvan- Had Rajni acted in this one, this movie would have ran for more than a year and he would have become the chief minister of TamilNadu(debatable for some).Climax didnt look like a climax, and thats the beauty of it!

There might have been many more movies with excellent climax scenes but these are my pics.For the connoissures of Tamil Cinema, they might not be convinced but I say u make a better climax than any of these written here and we will all enjoy!
