Top 5 indian channels. Review on Five Best Channels of the Year

There are many channels available on television, and it selection of channel depends on individuals taste and background.

Following are the 5 channels I love to watch. I spend about 80% of my television viewing time on these channels.

I also recommend these channels to young ones. This is the best combination I have found for Indian channels

COUNTDOWN BEGINS.....

1. D.D. Bharati (Informative)

You may be surprised to see DoorDarshans channel listed in top 5. I was surprised too, when I saw this channel for the first time. This is the only channel among all the channels that is truely indian. Only in this channel you can see stuff like traditional dances, folk lore, games from villages, health shows, talk shows touching real issues. This channel is not limited to only urban audiences. It has a beautiful mix of culture, entertainment and information.

If you have not watched this channel lately. Do watch it. You will not regret it.

1. NDTV (News)

I am very fond of news. Every now and then I switch to news channel. Among all the channels, I found NDTV best (Although there is stiff competition). I found that they cover all the events well. I specially like programs like 'Gustakhi maaf'. That was work of very very creative people. Also the talk shows on this channels are interesting.

1. SAB TV (100% Entertainment)

When it comes to clean entertainment, SAB tv tops all entertainment channels. It much better than Star TV, Zee TV etc. What I like best in SAB TV is that most of their serials are episodic, meaning they have short story which is finished in that episode, so there is no need to keep track of all the characters, storyline etc. Also if such serials are shown for long period of time, you dont get bored. Serials I like to watch are Yes Boss, Office Office, Sifarshi lal, Sab kuch ho sakta hai and many others. Over all this is very good channel providing good entertainment.

Leave all Sas Bahu for a while.. and switch to SAB TV.

1. Cartoon Channel (Entertainment)

If you have kid within you... If you love adventure, If you like seeing unexpected (and illogical) things, This is the channel. Get rid of boring human characters shown in other channels... see this. Here the cartoon characters are very very unique and they can do any thing. They can fire bullets from carrot, fly in air anytime, build house in a minute,,, etc etc..etc... I love to watch Tom & Jerry, Popaye, Road Runner, and many more... But I dont like cartoons mimicing humans, like superman etc... Animal characters are my favorite....

While watching cartoon channel, dont think.. just enjoy...

1. Discovery/National Geographic (Informative,Entertainment)

My most favorite channel among all is Discovery/National Geographic. I can randomly swith on my televisoin to these channels and watch for hours together. Be is history, science, fiction, non-fiction.. anything.. All programs are well researched and presented in nice and interesting manner. I specially like programs like Wings, Air crash investigations, Mystery programs. I am also very much terested in Wordl top 10 programs. My knowledge has surely increased by these channels. Its good to visit world over from your bedroom...
