Fitbit Charge HR is a heart rate band that keeps an account of your activities. I gave this gift to my lovely Mother, so that she can keep a check on her heart rate. She often does yoga and few exercises which are suitable for her age. Through fitbit she has been able to keep a track on her physical activity, workout done. There is an exercise mode that one can select to record the workout stat.
The most impressive thing is that an individual can himself/herself stay aware, monitor their heart rates. On days when she doesn't move much or does any exercise she herself feels that, because fitbit serves even as a guide. Fitbit tells you about the number of steps you take in a day, number of stairs you climb. The other useful features are caller id and connectivity with your phone or laptop.
Two sizes are available; small and large. It fits very well and easy to understand, in my case explain to your Mother. It is not heavy, so it is easy to wear it all day long and track your activity.
I had bought this online for 13k, it might seem like expensive but trust me it is definitely worth the price. A great way to stay fit and stay aware.
The only reason why I wouldn't be giving it a 5 stars is because if you wear it everyday, it will cause rashes, if your skin is too sensitive. But this could happen with a watch or a band too.
