Story:

This book was very good. It was short, detailed, and had a little humor in it which made it quite interesting. Mary Jane Ramierez was a widow with two children. She managed to find a job at FIRST GUARANTEE whereas her department was known to be a ''toxic energy dump" also known as the third floor.

What is that you might say? It's a backroom department that does necessary duties that allows the company to run sufficiently. Now the employees working there have been working there for quite some time now and all the enthusiasm is all played out. They are getting tired of doing the same stuff over and over again for eight hours a day, and five times out of the week. Other departments would say that it's as if there are zombies, it's dead, or even that it didn't exist.

That's where Mary Jane stepped in to be their new supervisor. She dreaded working there for the first few weeks. She knew why it was called the "toxic energy dump" and the lack of professionalism wasn't very pleasing for her. The big boss, Bill, even complained of it's lack of energy and wanted a change as well. So this was a new project was assigned for Mary Jane. It wasn't something that you can pull out of a book, or something to look for on the Internet, it was a project where she had to observe, know who she was working with, know where they came from, and she had to know how to change it.

After giving up her seat in the lunchroom after constant comments of her department, she decided to stroll down the street for something that will help her and change her life. Down the street around the corner was a very energzing fish market. Energy at a fish market? Unbelievable? But it's true and believe it. Over there, Mary Jane heard laughter, shouting, and recieved the vibe of excitement. Without knowing so much, this important discovery made a huge difference in her work life and in her personal life.

On her discovery, she met Loonie, a fellow fishermen-salesman. He knew everything about fish from what kind to how they taste like. She was in awe of everything going around her that she failed to notice a guy staring at her from afar. His name was Loonie, very handosme with curly hair. Mary Jane explained her assignment about the 'toxic energy dump' to him and found out that ho could be an assistant to her assignment,

Every week almost, Lonnie, Mary Jane and sometimes the kids would meet and chat about what gives life to a certain group of people, how people cope in life, deal with situations, and how they create an unbelievable energy and bring it to work. Lonnie advised Mary Jane to look around the fish market and the answer should be right under her nose. Little did she know, it was.

Attitude. She went into  work the next day and put what she found in action. She demonstrated about having a professional attitude and that the way was want others to see us completely up to us.  Later on, she also found out from Lonnie and the kids that inorder to have a positive attitude, others should as well. So they concluded that there should be some adult playtime whereas the work she always be done, but can include some fun. They also wanted to "Make their day". Meaning that saying hello or giving a surprise hug when someone is down can bring them back onto the positive side. When you are at work, you must "Be Present" according to Lonnie. You don't want to be daydreaming and such. Look for your customers and take initative.

After discussing these personal changes with her staff, they seem to like it and adopted the new policy sooner than later. For once, they all worked together and changed their working environment as a team. Thanks to Mary Jane and especially Lonnie, the third floor wasn't known as a toxic energy dump anymore. They learned to set aside there personal lives from their work life. And more importantly, they learned to live a life where the negativity could be avoided.

In the long run, the third floor turned out to be an extremely energized place. Mary Jane and the staff recieved and award, and Mary Jane found her own little happiness again.
