I have been religiously following the reviews on Linea.to start with, after much reading and test riding my shortlist includes:
Honda City - My initial choice. BUT, rising petrol cost, inferior interiors as compared to old model and lack of features(such as wider tyres alogwith alloy wheels, Automatic climate control, fog lights, cd stereo, door trims, blue and I technology) as compared to Linea put me off.in fact, if you add up the price of these additional goodies, it could easily add upto 1lakh.
Linea Diesel Emotion pack(top end model) - This came as a refereshing new choice with killing looks, so many goodies(at price of City), comfort and the list goes on.BUT, the After sales and resale due to FIAT reputation still worries me a lot.
Verna Diesel(manual top version) - The not so good contemporary looks and lack of air bags etc is a discomfort.although, power, After sales and resale is much better.
Swift Dzire zdi - Size is smaller but the diesel engine is creamy, handling excellent and list of features at this price(7.30 lac) is also impressive.add thereon Maruti reputation and you are tempted to go for it.of course, the 5 - 6 month waiting period is really killing.
I am throughly confused.should it be Linea, Verna or Dzire.
