I have been using Ferns N Petals lately for delivering birthday cakes to my near and dear ones. They have a variety of cakes, both egg-less and with egg, on their website to choose from.
I have always had a pleasant experience dealing with them. However, my last transaction with them was not ideal in terms of the delivery date. The cake was actually delivered 1 day in advance! Many people would argue on why that would be an issue if it was a non-edible commodity. However, being a birthday cake, delivering it a day in advance was certainly not ideal.
I would have reached out to their customer service had I noticed the change in delivery date in the confirmation email I received from them. I was so confident during the ordering process, based on my past experiences in placing orders with them, I didnt care to check the delivery date in the confirmation email after the order was placed. I only noticed it after I was informed by my relative that the cake was delivered a day before the actual birthday.
However, my relative was very satisfied with the quality and taste of the cake. The cake was packed and delivered without any damages and they relished it.
Another positive aspect is the convenience. To be able to get a cake or flowers delivered at the doorsteps of friends and family without physically going anywhere and from the comfort of your own home is very much appreciated.
I would continue to order from them in the future mainly due to the convenience and quality of products. However, I would keep a close on the date listed in the confirmation email going forward.
