Customer satisfaction!. Review on Federal Bank

''Somewhere in this darkness, there is a light that I cannot find. May be its too far away or may be I'm just blind''. I can't remember where I heard this, but they make me sentimental, so does this news - that ICICI may take control of Federal Bank not caring for what the 80% of the share holders want with their 20% as said in the news in almost every Malayalam channels.

How are they going to do that? Anyway, it is going to be nothing good. First I decided to write this review in ICICI bank section, but I believe that this is a better place for my first revew on banks.

I do hate ICICI from the bottom of my heart and I sincerely hope that these fellows will rot in hell without any restrictions. I hope that they face the same fate as the Centurion bank. I don't want to tell anything about them as they make me sick. I figured it out very early as it was the one topic with east recommendations - I do like it.

There is no other review on this topic. So let me expand this. The largest of the old generation private sector banks was started in 1931, I think. It's head office was shifted to Alwaye from Nedumpuram, a place near Thiruvalla in 1945 and it had been helpful to both poor and rich alike.

It is the one of those banks where all people had equal importance. As we get closer to the bank we will know it. I had been visiting it for more than ten years and the development of the bank has been quite remarkable.

It is in the best position for helping the customers in all their needs. This bank has more branches in rural areas so that it could help the people there. It started with the name The Travancore Federal Bank Ltd, which became The Federal Bank Ltd. I believe that it has very high number of branches (it was 406 earlier) considering the fact that this one had one of the most humble beginnings ever.

It serves with ''anywhere banking''service and also internet banking ''Fednet'' which are specialized for customer care unlike ICICI's policy intended on making profits and nothing else. I don't think that any one will be satisfied with what ICICI will do if they take complete control of Federal Bank.

Will they care about dealers, workers or any one related to the bank? I don't expect anything from them, nothing closer to Federal Bank, its relationships with its customers and the help it provides to all.

Federal Bank has been working on cultural programmes a lot too. Are the Indians going to lose another bank? Why are the banks of common people having no stand? They have also started an Engineering college FISAT (Federal Institute of Science And Technology) as well as some flats including Federal Gardens in Aluva.

The fact that the life is getting more and more modern means that there is no chance for voice from common people? ICICI is trying to get the job done using their power and everything wrong it could do.

Whats going to happen the next day? The services of Federal Bank will not be available for ordinary people and I can't imagine it become something like ICICI! These guys also have the shares of some other banks too.

Will they take them too if they think that it is developing and may improve and achieve a bigger, prestigious level than ICICI? Why don't they let others go on with their work? Are they hippocrites?

The fact that ICICI has about 20% of the shares doesn't mean that they can do anything they want. They seems to be ready to do anything to take the bank. They never seems to straighten their act.

They should mind their own working instead of putting their heads in others matters. One day, they may rest in pieces.....these are some ''great expectations'' - especially if they don't mind their own business.

I can't believe that after creating a long list of achievements, Federal Bank is achieving this fate. But there is the General body meeting on Monday 27 and lets see what happens then. The ultimate result of long hardwork cannot go in vain like this.

This not what the founder of Federal Bank Shri K.P.Hormes ever wanted. Lets hope for some miracle to keep the ICICI away - I do believe in miracles even if its almost too late now, theres still a shadow of hope.
