In my original review which I posted many weeks ago, I started using Fair & Lovely and really enjoyed it. It worked well against my skin and by week 3 I could see a slight change in my skin colour. However that was probably the only amount of change I would see from this product at all!
Fair & Lovely says it contains active sunscreens which protects your skin from the sun's darkening rays, while inhibitng melanin production, thus making you fairer. It can deliver 1 to 3 shades of change in most people. Let me tell you:
THIS IS FALSE! DONT BELIEVE THEM!
When I first started using this product I was so pumped by the fact that I could see some difference to my skin. I have medium-light brown skin and I probably when up half a shade or so by the third week. Fair & Lovely says by the sixth week your skin should have unlocked the secrets of glowing fair skin. BOY DO THEY KNOW HOW TO LIE!
I used Fair & Lovely twice a day, in the morning and in the mid-day near nightfall. I followed all directions and everything...but still...the alteration didn't happen. My skin didn't unlock true fairness. I used it for 8 weeks (MORE than the 6-week average cycle) and my skin only went up 1/2 shade lighter, not even fulfilling the promise on the box. Remember ''1 to 3 shades lighter...guareented!'' Nowhere does it say 0.5 shade lighter does it? Huh?
Im disappointed with Fair & Lovely and have discontinued using it, because it has been 2 months and nothing has happened since the third week I used it. No change. Nothing! If you are looking for a fairness product...its best to use a bleach. Though its harmful and I am against it...use it if you want fair skin. I for one have given up on this whole fairness craze.
Im happy with myself and you should be too. Fairness creams are fake. They sound like magical potions but the MOST they can ever do is make you a teenie-weenie-weenie-weenie bit lighter to the point that no one can see any ''real change'' as the product promises.
WASTE OF A PRODUCT! Dont buy this. Its false. Its fake. Fair & Lovely doesnt make your skin ''glowing fair''. Its all a lie, and I believed it....I'm ashamed!
