Facebook Lite, the Facebook app alternative provided by the Zuckerberg & team when their usual app failed to please people, is extremely good. Let me explain what I feel about this app-
Size: In terms of app size, this app steals the show as it is less than 1 mb in size and its counterpart is more than 20 mb, so data conscious people in India will prefer this app when they don't have wifi available.
Data Usage: Since mobile data is not cheap, people would prefer FB Lite over usual FB as it uses less data.
Usage: The effects and transitions are not provided in this app but it should be like this only if we want to decrease the size of the app.
Other important feature of this app is that it can handle messaging inside itself. For the other app, we need another app for messages because we cannot use messaging feature inside the usual app. This is a big plus for Facebook Lite.
