I bought a Faber Premiere Energy TC90(Photo attached) in Kolkata a couple of days ago on being said that it has a 12 years warranty on everything! Curiosity got the best of me hence I enquired deeper and asked if it included the Feather Touch switch panel and MCB, the sales person replied in a very very confirmed affirmative.Wow I said and bought it immediately! Now after getting back I see no mention of the Chimney anywhere on the website or any clarity on the Warranty.
The product is new I believe and it doesn't have a dedicated Warranty book or page for this very particular model, the warranty is a general one.Or did the Sales Exec lie? I shot back an email as the Toll free customer care is as good as a retartd center with none of the executive having any product knowledge nor any quality of speakinf in any language. You talk to the Call Center and it's apparent how the service will be. The email yeilded no result. Hence sent mail to Faber US Italy Global whatever I could get hold of! The very next morning I started receiving calls from Pune to Kolkata. Now this is how we guys would love to have you and not the other way around. Service so far so good but you know how I got it.
The Indian Unit has to pull up its socks, guys. As I realized.Faber has the Right Products but the Wrong People. The Chimney is very well made, superb finish and very innovative, no doubt about that. All the Chimneys I came across in its price range don't stand a chance, for eg it has a mind boggling 1500m3/h suction capacity, Auto Clean, 54db noise level, slanted baffle filter with oil collector, Feather Touch Panel, LCD Display, LED Lighting, etc etc!
I hope they get their act together and reach out to customers, there's no stopping them after that.It is for Faber's fault or loose after sales support why Kutchina is so big in Kolkata and WestBengal.
