Long story short, I was sick of MTNL(awful noisy phone&constant cuts to the net) and decided to get a new ISP that doesn't have the anti-consumer FUP(a policy to bring your net to a craw if you exceed your quota), i've done some research on this and only found out that this is just a disgusting business practice to make more money NOT that they're actually short of bandwith or anything.


So I called up Excitel and the cable guy took a week to come and that was just beginning of the problems! firstly the connection randomly dropped like for 1 hour straight and then the other day the modem simply stopped working, so then again the cable guy comes as late as possible and replaces it ONLY to have it die again in less than a week! IT HASN'T even been a month since the subscription and I have possibly gotten ALL the fu*$#ing problems I could've had:-


1) The connection is inconsistent(It is NEVER 5 Mbps constant! its always fluctuating and could cut at any given time) so if you're playing any game online you're gonna get discontented abruptly.


2) The Tenda Router that the slimy cable guy(his name is Ravi something), said that Router is necessary for internet  but when the router broke down the second time he just told me a way to  plug the WAN port directly into the PC. WOW so there was no need for a router in the first place? fu#king scammers!


3) The customer service is AWFUL! its MTNL level of incompetence&corruption. I wasn't even given a bill for the first month because it turns out it would take another week to actually register my connection.


4) Due to the trash modem issue I have only used the net for like 2-3 weeks max  yet I was charged for an entire month!


Excitel's website says  "100% moneyback guarantee" in the first month so let's see how much they give back(I paid 1000 for router, 500 for cable&759 for internet), if they actually give me 100% of my money back I will come back here and change the score.


Bonus advice:If you're planning to buy a Tenda Router, PLEASE DON'T! its garbage which won't even last for a month. don't even buy it if its selling for half the price! just like excitel's monthly plan its not worth anything!
