I admitted my daughter in Eurokids jayanagar, 1st block in nursery 2015-2016.
The school was satisfying but not up to the expectations or as promised.After paying second term fees it got worse.
To start with best things, my kid likes her class teacher very much. she is very good in handling children. During lunch time her teacher and other supporting staff use to feed her and take good care.
Personal thanks to her class teacher and supporting staffs.
It is instructed that when a kid is on leave we should call and inform school head and we are free to contact any time during office hrs for any queries, but my calls were not answered or messages where acknowledged when I call to inform and when I had queries as my kid was resistive to school throughout the year.
Toy library was not so great in my opinion as the toys where distributed only on Saturdays and we use to visit home town every week end. It would have been useful if flexibility was there. when requested I received as diplomatic answer that it is not encouraged. Refundable deposit was also not refunded.
They will be informing to bring few things for educating children with practical things such as things stars with A etc., in particular dates, when interacting with my kid I feel these things are not followed exactly.
Proper information about field trips like where they take our children specifically were not informed regularly. Only field trip dates and informations such as just park or market will be informed in monthly planner. It would have been felt safe if we were informed specifically.
Regarding kids Gym, My kid likes trampoline very much, she use to say they are not at all allowed.
Regarding wellness program, I have not received any records other than messages that there are wellness programs and kids are supposed to attend without fail.
Not even height and weight during exit in school memory book at the end of the year.
Performance assessment was shared but I personally feel it is not so accurate. Also her weekend activity book was corrected only in the beginning weeks after that it was not corrected. Her school learning activity books I observed few activities are wrong but marked as correct.
Noticeboard was mostly placed inside the gate where parents are not allowed inside.
Organiser was seldom used. Not even to get consent for field trips or holidays which are not mentioned in manual such as mahashivrathri.
