Satisfactory product as ro. Review on Eureka Forbes Aquaguard RO Smart Water Purifier

First of all I really appreciate the sales mania of ef(eureka forbes ) salesmen company trained them perfectly to sale its product even if person does'nt feel any use of company product.

Guess what to sale RO to my father ef sale executive was just hovering near my house even my father says "no" to buy it clearly he.comes 3 to 4 times even after returning him  after closing door...

but at last he convince my father to purchase it. Well comes to point about RO

weight= slight heavy

color =white

looks =simple

material=durable

output =8 lt per hour

waste water every hour= 30 lt appx

tds reduction  upto 95%

collection unit= no

automatic function =no

well it has five filters

which mrp combine 5 cost around 3100

yet  all five u can get at discount in near 2300 rs apx from any ef franchise

well as we try its filter and membrane  run for near 9 month

tds 600apx output tds near 30-50 apx

well it gave almost mx 9000 lit water

as I research its filtered water taste some bitter as we are adjusted to high tds water that conatin high iron contains that cause water to be sweat in taste at high tds

water look crystal clean after filter from RO

well look for maintainance

as this ro have all push fit fitting its filter replacement does'nt need more labour

just open 4 outer and 6 inner screw and it is open

just click and push connecters through which filters were connected with white pipes to eath other take new one and again push coonecter to filter end and thats all

well this ro membrane that s the imp thing I research as indicated 75 gpd (more gpd means more filter output capasity termd as gallon per day but when I cut  old mem from this RO ef supplies

100 gpd taiwan made csm membrane (100 gpd does"nt means it is definately better than 75 gpd one because ooutput also depend on brand and quality as chinese one 100 gpd membrane gaves same performance like 75 gpd standard one )

CSM is cheap oem membrane supplier to various RO manufacturer but not good brand in world of RO membrane

so you can put itself separate brand cartidege that comes even cheap than ef oem membrane that cost min 1800 RS(MRP 2350) and csm cartidge  u got in that ef 1800RS cartidge

so to cut membrane u could get vontron or filmtec (filmtec dow chemicals is best brand and  no. 1 quality brand in whole world ) in around 800 and 1200 rs and  casing 200 rs and put in  THIS RO whenever membrane got out

this compatible cartidege u could easily clean after removing from housing.

but u  eureka forbes supplied CSM membrane u cant clean

so u at least need to spend on every 10 k litre  on filters and membrane change apx

1200+600( 600 original ef carbon filters u could get local one also cheap but as there is no much difference in original ef and market one u can use eureka forbes ones)

than total spending will at least 1800 RS

u may need 20RS push connecters that is 5 to 6 rs /unit cost as connecters were worn out and leaked after months of usage

so overall this is simple design RO that u can maintain itself if u gain some  knowledge

second thing ef provides  1 year amc for rs 3000 in which 1 time all filter and membrane replacement

given and any electric part replacement throughout the year whcih include mainly electric pump replacement without labour and cost

ok  after apx 3 years on near 9/11/11 its pump head failed so I install 800 rs local booster pump and at this time I also replace orginal oem ro membrane cost 2000 with chinese vontron ulp-1812-75gpd cost about 700 rs and than I checkout tds by two person meters to ensure the tds reading

input water(tap water) tds=650 apx

output water (ro water) tds =35-40 apx as two separate reading by two meter
