I bought the Compact classic model 5 years back . For last 4 yrs no problem were there so no requirement to experience the "awful" customer service , but my luck turned upside down when for last 6 months it started malfunctioning and giving out dirty water.
The service engineer attended after 2-3 calls . And I was amazed at his audacity in telling that its the water which is dirty ( well I suppose the purifier is meant to clean that only ) and reduce the flow to almost a trickle so mud does not come along with it.
I always have taken 2 years service contract ( over - priced ) with Eureka forbes for regular service and this is what you get when in need .The problem remained even with trickle , so I called up again and this time he came up with a discovery that some washer is missing and they do not have it in stock and would return . So I am still waiting after 3-4 weeks and multiple reminders to local Eureka service station and also national customer call service for the solution.
Nobody bothers to call and tell you that when it is going to be resolved and every time you call they have scripted dialogues to repeat ( apologize for inconvenience) but no solution .Well in case Eureka guys want to track their customer service performance they can track my compaint id number 111109416 .
Well suggestion to all you guys reading this , dont go for service contracts which are useless at the time of requirement and also they are over priced around 1900 for 2 years ..( waste of money ) .
