Waiter will make you wait for at least 10-15 minutes before he gets the menu. It will be another 30 minutes for the order to arrive.
Super expensive - A punjabi dish costing Rs.450? What are you, TAJ?
And lacking basic things such as Paper towels, no finger bowl after food, no serving water.I mean, seriously, an Udipi restaurant is way better!
Club-
Membership: Is non-refundable, of course, and runs in Lakhs. And once you pay up.that's it.they will show no mercy even if you don't get any facilities. For example, they will organise a Badminton coaching class on Saturday and Sunday, from 11a.m till 6.30 p.m. So when do you expect the members to visit?
The receptionist would be blissfully unaware of these rules and when you land up, you will hear another NO, not allowed.
For Steam, Sauna, children below 12 years are not allowed.that's half your family knocked out.
Swimming: Well, I was wearing a Speedo T-shirt and one of the staff objected with their traditional "No Sir not allowed" and I had a good laugh.
There are so many boards that say no, I feel one day a board will be put up saying "No Swimming".
Life guards are over-enthusiastic considering the maximum depth in the pool is just 6 feet! They constantly whistle and pipe out rules to the guests, which is unwarranted for.
The restaurant at the pool never provides for bills, saying "printer is non-operational". I think they pocket the money, either the whole amount or the GST part. Surprisingly, the Management is unaware of this.
So basically, the ideology is simple.since the members have already paid up, don't give a hoot. That is Eskay Club. Over-rated, Over priced and way below par.it is time WE MEMBERS SAY NO!
