Both b/w and color print outs are good. Ink consumption is very low. I printed 600 pages in b/w mode. It consumed only 1/5th(approximately) of the 70 ml black ink. With one black ink bottle we will get 3000+ copies as per my estimation.
As per them they will reset the number and then again you will be able to print 6000 or 9000 pages. After that again it will stop.He also informed that many people have stopped using Epson because of this issue.
