Education means acquiring of knowledge, culture and character. Education is the fundamental right of the each and everybody. It is responsibility of the Government to provide the free education to its citizens. But the Government is failed to provide the good education to its citizens. That’s why the Private Education Institutions like School, Colleges and professional colleges came into existence. As per Government rules, the Private Educational institutions should run by the nonprofit Educational societies/Trustees.
The Following observations have been made on private education institutions:
1) Primarily the education institute should be the nonprofit making institute. The profits should not be more than 5%.
2) Now a day Institutions are collecting lot of many as the donations.
3) They are collecting lot of fees, but they pay very less salaries to their teachers.
4) Stationary items like bags, uniform, books, notebooks, etc., are also sold by schools and make the parents to buy from the school only.
5) In addition to the donations, fee, and transport fees they are collecting annual celebration fees, tour fees etc.
6) Institutions are being run without having the Playgrounds and Proper security measures like first aid center, fire extinguishers etc.
7) Education institutions are not filing the Income tax returns or showing very less profits The main thing is the private institutions are being run by local politicians/Uneducated Persons/Rowdy sheeters without knowing the Objective of the Education system. The mindset should be changed to provide good education at affordable price.
