I read many reviews on BAAZEE.COM and almost agree with most of reviews that baazee is nothing but a site to cheat public. I am their member for last 4 yrs and purchased just 7 very very low value products from this site.
I feel that in India, there is no scope for e-commerce to improve. This is because of no accountability and no after sale service. When I buy products from my neighboring shop, I can at least go and complain about the quality and performance of the product but on net, I can't do it.
Here I wish to share my experience of bidding at Rs. 1/- on baazee.
I bid for 2 pcs of product at Rs. 1/- each and I was the winner and thought of getting beautiful product at Rs. 1/-. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO I WAS WRONGGGGGGG.
The actual bill came to me was Rs. 302/- (for 2 pcs each @ Rs. 151/-)
When I checked up, I found that the product value is Rs. 1/- and delivery charges is Rs. 150/-. I got surprised that the delivery charges are too high and preferred to send my person to collect the winning product. I thought this will save my Rs. 300/- delivery charges. But again I was wronggggggggggggg.
I was told that irrespective of the fact that they deliver or I collect, I have to pay these DELIVERY CHARGES.
My question to baazee was if the vendor is not delivering the material, why he should charge delivery charges. so far my 4 emails are just responded with their automatic reply system and yet to get proper reply from baazee.
This suggest that the actual product value is already recovered by the vendor in delivery charges and in bid whatever he gets, is his extra profit (many other users got this product at Rs. 150/- + Delivery Charges Rs. 150/-)
Users beware before bidding on products at 1 paisa. coz the price of the products is recovered by way of delivery charges.
THE ONLY GOOD THING I FIND ABOUT BAAZEE IS THAT U GET TO SEE ALL THE PRODUCTS, THEIR FEATURES, INDICATIVE PRICE ETC AND THAN U CAN LOOK FOR SUCH AROUND YOUR LOCALITIES
