I have been a member of the e-bay fraternity since last 3-4 years. I did not have any problem until my last online purchase. I purchased a digital camera SONY DSC30. Online and made instant payment through my credit card.A Delivery time of 7 days was promised to me.
But I did not receive the camera within the stipulated time.I inquired for the same and was told that the seller has requested for arranging the product within four more days.I gave my consent and waited for the camera to reach me.But all in vain.My product was never to be delivered to me.I again inquired at the e-bay phone lines and was informed that the seller has put a NO REFUND request against my order. On talking to the seller on phone he told me that no such request was made by him.These people were lying.I then, learnt that for some unknown reasons my account was suspended.I was not given the reasons for suspension of my account and it became all the more difficult to inquire for my refund.
I went through a hell of a time before I could actually get the refund.
So try avoid shopping on E-bay, and if at all you do, never pay in advance as I did. There are other online shopping portals which can be explored.
