Not that Easy. Review on EasyJet

This was the first time that I tried to fly with EasyJet. I had booked the tickets for 7th Feb 04 to London from The Netherlands, by the 20th of January. It worked out to be a total of 100 Euros, with tax + the credit card charges.

My flight was scheduled to leave by 1340 Hrs, but then the staff announced a delay every 5 minutes - so finally we got to leave only at about 1420 Hrs. Maaan! That was a real bad flight! I am not too sure, if the roads above were bumpy or was it real bad turbulence (but the seat belts signs remained ''Off''), the driver drove real bad! I felt totally sick and damn damn nauseated during the flight.

As you get into the flight - dont search for your seat - ''They are all free seats'', said the cool gal there. I sat in one Aisle seat and was totally cramped. I wish I had smaller feet - to fit them comfortably! Why cant they just issues seat numbers? It atleast looks a little more professional!

I did not understand why the ''Air hostess'', who was just another gal with a T-Shirt and Jean, told me to get off my head phones. I was listening to just a plain Walk-Man, not even a CD Player. This was about 10 minutes before take off. Oh Yeah! Of course, 10 minutes before the flight could land, she was back to tell me to get the ear phones off. Come on, I really did not know that even a walk man was electronic and could affect the ....whatever of the flight!

They distributed Easy Jet Magazines and collected them towards the end - Of course, if you wanted to - you could have taken it home! Its Free! Phew! ! ! The best part is that they come with Orange Trash Bags at the end of the flight to collect the dump. I found it funny. They have made the Limited Available services look so damn informal, that the passenger wonders if he ever got any!

Oh Yeah - they did land about 25 minutes later than the scheduled time. I mean, this was my first experience with Easy Jet and I am in a total state of shock as far as flying with them goes.

However, the return journey - which I anticipated to also depart late, rough flight, arrive late - Surprised me the most! I hardly knew when we took off - where we flew - how we landed! It was soooooooo smooth. Of course, she told me to get off my ear phones - and I did not care but had them on and heard my Music !

Easy Jet is good for really only budgetary purposes. Just not otherwise. I am thinking of flying with them again. Yeah Yeah Yeah! The damn reason being - MONEY
