Scalding flick. Review on Double Cross

Pornography can be tastefully presented unfortunately this thriller is nothing but a soured out porn film. To think the once crowned small town girl from Simla who acted as the girl next door in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander has stooped to this level just to keep afloat is deplorable. I am referring to Ayesha Jhulka, overweight, garish and has driven home the fact that she cannot act to save her life. Her portrayal of a Punjabi pimp who speaks this beautiful language with the weirdest accent (definitely not like UK /South African Punjabis) is disgusting and if this film fails it would be truly because of her!!

The less said about the others the better. Khan as the male gigolo seriously needs to enroll into some acting classes, as for the ever gyrating Nigar Khan, she has misled herself that she can work in Bollywood. She would be better off dropping her top (and more if necessary) and stay on the Norwegian modelling ramp.

The flimsy plot said to be based on true life events but can only be the fiction of Juss Jastla as introduced by Ayesha Jhulka as well as the corny dialogues. Not to mention the script writer did not even spare the Gujju maasi ''Maniben'' who rings up the pimp for her regular gigolo services, I mean how implausible is that!! Rather sad attempt to shock.

Probably the only saving grace of the film is Khan's physique and Nigar's attempts at pole dancing! See it if its the only alternative to a spicy meal but be prepared to scald yourself as it does not sizzle!!
