Don - Pros and Con. Review on Don: The Chase Begins Again

Don - the chase begins again

I m not in a mood to do a full review so i'll just put down what I liked and what I disliked.

• The older version kept you engrossed throughout, Some parts in Farhan's version were really boring.

  
  




• No offense to SRK fans but well he was a bad choice for the role of Don. Hrithik or Abhishek(or Sanjay Dutt) could have done a better job playing the same part. SRK didnt put any effort to look different.. to look like Don.. he kept on drawing his eyebrows together in ominous frowns and pursing lips when he gets upset and pouts when hes drunk. Havent we had enuf of this from him ?

  
  




• I thought the picturization may make up for the average songs. But well the choreographers ruined the songs.

  
  

Yeh Mera Dil - Helen's version was soo graceful, sexy and beautiful. Kareena cant dance and the steps were horrible. Its juss Kareena and Srk falling over each other.Farah or whoever thks for ruining a beautiful song.

Kaike - Can u ever think of some1 doing kaike in malaysia ? An averagely choreographed song..

Aaj ki Raat - no coordination watsoever between priyanka and isha.

Maurya re - juss okkk...

Main hoon Don - I really hated this song before, but surpirisingly this was the best song in the movie .. Srk luked good isha pri luked hot .. lovelyyyyyyyyyyy choreography !! stylish, suvave.

overall the choreography was bad.. and that too coming from names like Farah, Saroj Khan and Ganesh Hegde..think abt farah and saroj picking on the amateur choreographers in those dance shows..

• Overall the music was average.But the background score was brilliant. Simply awesome.

  
  




• Superb action sequences.. I loved the chunky-srk sequence in the beginning .. wish I cud see more of chunky tho.. :love: . But well I simplyyyyyyy loved the action sequences. Classy stuff !!

  
  




• The changes in the script that Farhan made were soooo kewl .. I loved the Vardhan part and the end

  
  

spoiler but the sad part is that to incorporate those changes he had to change the Vijay's character who comes across as a sweet/innocent person in the original.I wish he'd kill Vijay a bit later.

• Simply Superb A-class cinematography.Hats off!

  
  




• Priyanka - I was soo happy when I saw her luking so classy and sleek in the poster. what happened in the movie ? :confused: She had juss 3 gr8 scenes - 1. her entry 2. When she confronts Don and 3. bike scene. For the rest of the time she does what she is best at - showing us that she is an animal (a junglee billi this time). No sympathies for her character, even if she lost her bhaiya and bhabhi.

• Arjun - he luked hot did his part well... sexy sexy jasjit gave me a heart attack each time he came on screen

  
  




• Om puri - Wtf totally wasted.

  
  




• Isha koppikar - did her part well. but danced soo badly in Aaj ki raat. she ruined the song.rest of the cast was ok did their parts well.

overall, cud have been a much much better film if Farhan had concentrated on getting together a better cast. Some serious flaws in the screenplay made it boring. The concept was superb but the execution wasnt.
