We had all sorts of apprehensions when we were suggested to go to dive agar by our friends.

We just had rough idea about the map to the place and a visiting card of the person where we were supposed to put up in diveagar.

we started our journey from Pune yes all young josh on bike early in the morning and thought we would be there in 3 hours but hell after 4 punctures and 2 truck rides(along with the bike).and 7 hours...whew!!!..All 10 of us were in dive agar.

The ride from Pune to diveagar was amazing in spite of soaring mercury ....the scenic beauty of ghats were breathtaking, the roads were gr8.thnx to the municipal corporation. We finished all the camera rolls on the way...;-)

We went straight to the place where we supposed to put up for next 2 days. Man now this was something which soothed all our tiredness. We stayed at a uncle's plc who gives out their cottages on rent. (if you want I can give you the contacts).

The charges are really minimal but service is absolutely great!! you order for anything you wnat to it and lo the homemade food is served in no time and the choice is yours either you take breakfast under the coconut tree or in your cottage.

Don’t expect the cottages to be to hi-fi (rates are Rs 150-200 per person), then after refreshing kokum sharbat and homemade mutton samosa we paved our way to the beach. just cross the farm(uncle's) and walk for 100 meters and you reach a calm serene , clean virgin beach with no one... yes absolutely no one.....the beach is sandwiched between two mountains and it is a shallow one so u can go quite far into the water....

so after that water splashing, building castles and burying me into the sand my friends were tired so we started back to the house...and as usual girls were cribbing about how they would get rid of the sand....

hmmmm....uncle had solution for that too!!! there is big pump (tube well)with which they water the trees. So here we were under the fresh water fast jet stream...and washed off the sand...

Next day we went to Murud Jaljira fort which is just 20 mins away from the place..Hey just be at murud before 3 as that is the last time the boat leaves from the shore.....

The memories are still fresh and I want to go there again....though I was quite selfish about posting the place description here.....I didn't want the serenity to be lost.... (Kidding')...

It’s an amazing place.

hey guys be armed with basic necessities incase you are planning to go there...its a very small place....so pack the bags...well and get going...!!!!
