I have been to Anaheim three times and have stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, in Anaheim, California, once.

Please don't get confused because there are three Disneyland Hotels in Anaheim, (the Grand Californian and the Paradise Pier, are the other two).

The one we stayed at is at 1150 Magic Way. This hotel was the best place to stay if you were visiting Disneyland. We only stayed one nigh and two days because our room cost us $225.00USD.

Walt Disney made sure that your experience, at the hotel would be magical.

.:The Hotel:.

The hotel was across the street from the entrance to Disneyland. All you had to do was walk over a bridge to visit the attraction.

There are three towers, that has about 990 rooms. When you walk into your bedroom you will see that each is sprinkled with faerie dust. There was also a booklet telling you about the history of the Disney brothers, (Roy and Walt).

The Lobby:

The lobby is huge and it is hard to find young children if they move away from you.

Every shop in the lobby, the Fantasia Shop, (where you can buy Disneyland items), the Euro Gifts and Arribas Brothers, (are expensive shops), and the Marina Lobby Shop is where you can buy snacks, books, magazines and bathroom items you may have run out of).

There were long lines at the reception desk. When we reached the front of the line the desk clerk looked in her computer and found our reservation. There was no problem because we had used our Visa credit card when we reserved the room.

A Bellboy showed us to our room, and explained how to use every electrical thing in the room, (even how to turn on and off the lights).

The Bedroom:

We were there with our children and were very happy we only had to reserve one room, because there were two queen sized beds, and a hide-a-bed sofa, (for our son).

One wall was a window, with a sliding door, that led to the patio.

The rooms were decorated in gold and black and so was the bathroom.

There was a very large closet, and dresser. Inside the closet was an ironing board, iron and the safe.

I loved the make-up table because it had a make-up mirror on it.

There was a refrigerator, TV, a phone, (with voice mail) and a coffee/tea maker.

The bathroom was tiled, and had a toilet, tub/shower and a long counter with two sinks. The mirror was as long as the counter. On the counter was a vase of artificial flowers and a basket of amenities. Below the counter were three drawers and on one wall was a hair drier.

Dinning:

There are eight places to eat and drink. We had breakfast at the Coffee House and dinner at Goofy's Kitchen.

We didn't try the Captain's Gallery, Crocs Bits 'n Bites, the Granville Steak House, Hook's Pointe, the Wine Cellar or the Lost Bar.

Recreation:

We used the Neverland themepool, twice and watched the Fantasy Water Show. We didn't bother seeing the Koi Fish Ponds, (West Edmonton Mall has so many of them), the Cove Beach and the Safari Adventure.

.:Things You Should Know:.

There is not much to do in Anaheim, besides seeing Disneyland.

The shops are tourist shops and the restaurants, (that aren't in a hotel), are fast food cafes.

I forgot to pack my panties, and I had to take a shuttle bus, to another town, that had a Mall, to buy some. It took me 10 minutes to buy them, but the trip took me an hour. Remember to bring everything you need.

Disneyland is opened from 10:00am to 9:00pm every day.

In the summer it is very hot and in the winter it is cold and rainy.

.:My Final Thoughts:.

I was very impressed with the hotel, but not enough to pay that much again. It is great if it's your going to Disneyland for the first time.

When I brought my grandsons back we stayed at cheaper hotels, and to be truthful, it wasn't as much fun.

I write on a number of websites, using different names. This same review may appear on them.

If you are coming to Anaheim and can afford this price I hope you'll consider this hotel.

Thank you for reading my review.
