1.5 mbps down / 256 kbps up has been only a dream as no one provides connection at these speeds.... Dishnet is known Technocorp in Surat (confirmed with the marketing personal) .... Coming to the point....
Registered and paid the amount of Rs 3500 (including C.discount) on 8-4-04 for speed of atleast 56 kbps after a talk with Mr and Mr ((not mentioning their names)). Reqested the marketing person to deploy wires befor sunday. Reply was given positively by him.. but no luck... wires were deployed on 13-4-04 tuesday... But after getting online at around 2.30 pm connection was down after 20 min. and remained down for 2 days till ( half of tuesday , wednesday , thursday ) ... connection worked ok till friday night .
Speed test was Crap 24 kbits/s (CRAP SH!T), but I've paid for 56 kbps..... On contacting Senior person in the compny ... he says that I need to download some opera software... BULSH!T.... He denies of transmiting speed of 56 kbps ..... Saturday noon connection was again down .. that went on till sunday , monday, tuesday 3 pm... ( thes made me completely mad) .. connection was on wednesday , but still frequent timeouts on gateway ping ...
Speed test show 25 kbits/s ... still not upto advertised speeds of 56 kbits's .... on thursday morning when I checked ... connection was down on thursday . friday , and today saturday the 24 th........... connection started at the evening and worked till 9.25 pm,... connection was than down till 10 . 30 pm.... now at 1 am(sunday morning) .... connection is again down.... connection was up again... its been working Ok till today, few small outages but annoying,..... Customer Care people are rude, on contatcting them they same the same old things, like check lancard light, replug the wire etc..... As they are giving me less than 32 kbits/s I demanded a refund for the extra money that I paid for 56 kbits...
They agreed, but still havent received it..... Downloads rarely go about 4 kb/s that also during night........ all I can say is that This is the worst isp I have been with... Thank god I only paid for 2 months..... Its almost a month now ....
