Dishnet DSL. Review on Dishnet DSL

This is so far my worst investment so far. Firstly, these guys should understand what kind of a service a DSL ISP is supposed to provide. In other countries we have people b1tching about paying $40 a month and getting 'only' 100kbps download speed.. and look at the service here.. getting a download speed of around 10kbps itself is like a dream. Can't expect such a fantastic service in a 3rd world country like this but atleast these guys shouldn't promise too much.. I spend Rs 50000 to get my line and now I dont even use it..

First of all, what kind of an ISP would put a limit to traffic except for these money hungry ISPs of India. Atleast if they spend all this money or atleast a part of it for buying bandwidth, atleast a handful of customers would be satisfied.

1000 bucks a month for the internet may sound like a good deal for most people as most of the people here just download porn or just surf the net, check emails, chat and thats about it.. what about for the real users who need proper bandwidth or what DSL is meant to offer?

What irritates me the most is when the connection snaps and I call up the customer service.. the answer they have always is that they're ''upgrading'' or ''under maintainance''.. what is it that they do every 2 hours that they call maintainance?

for a couple of hours once I even got a download speed of just a few bytes per second and the answer they gave me is that probably im downloading from a slow website. And when I told them I was connected to my friend's FTP who has a T1 line at home, they found it funny for which I cannot blame them cause as it is they are stupid.

Their customer service is absolutely horrible. After 10 in the night if you call them, only the watchman or security guard or whatever you wanna call him picks up the phone and he doesn't even speak english... so how exactly do foreigners in the city communicate?

I dont know how many of you might have gone to https://ddsl.net recently but I tried clicking on 'contact us' and it says page cannot be found. Thats remarkable for an ISP's website.

They should learn something from ISPs like roadrunner (rr.com) in the US.

I use the internet now from Satyam iway internet centers spending approximately 150 to 200 Per day and higher.. I write my MP3s to CDs and take it home.. im way more satisfied this way though I have to travel to a cafe and then come back home.. its still better than these guys' horrible service.

Those who ever like the service of Dishnet DSL are im sure the newbies of the internet who do nothing but chat and download porn and find the connection fantastic cause your jpgs will load faster. get a life.
