I have recently taken Dish Tv HD at my kolkataresidence. Resolution is 1080i ( Interlaced ) and it has only Stereo Sound output ( Don't get fooled by thinking 5.1 Channel ). You can only take Platinum Pack + HD Pack That is 375 + 100 = Rs 475 per Month.


You can not downgrade your package in any way. The HD picture quality is good but not as good as a BD ( BlueRay Disk which is 1080p). I have even noticed mild frame dropping on HD channels. Discovery HD and National Geographic HD keeps showing animals mostly. Its a great choice for you if you are wild animal lover.
