I bought Dish TV Connection from their dealer (Jyotiba Electronics, Pune).
He charged me Rs. 4990 for the Maxi Package although the actual advertized price is Rs. 35xx
He told me that the reason for the extra amount is that the Maharashtra State has additional entertainment tax.
Unfortunately I bought the Dish TV first and then verified the truth of his statement.
It turned out that he had cheated me.
The dealer also told me that the reciept for the amount paid would be sent by Dish TV.
And When I called Dish TV Call center for the reciept, they told me that the reciept is supposed to be
given by the dealer itself.
And now I get a call from Dish TV saying that I have paid only 2500 and need to pay extra amount to continue with my connection.
Summary of the story:
Dish TV Dealers are cheats, & Dish TV has no control over them.
Call Center guys are totally unprofessional
I am thinking of scrapping the Dish TV connection that I have and switching to Tata Sky, atleast those guys provide a much more professional service.
