Wanted to share my experience of purchasing diamond ring from D'damas brand. I had purchased a ring in 2008 worth 10k and now wanted to exchange/buy back the ring. To my surprise ddamas brand is now closed and are clubbed with Geetanjali jewels.
After running to many shops which sell ddamas diamond and making numerous calls to customer care, I was asked to send the scanned documents of invoice and certificate to the Geetanjali customer care. To my surprise I got a response that I can exchange only one small outlet at Indranagar and the amount would be 70% of the Invoice Rate which was of the year 2008. So finally I ended up losing money either in exchange or buy back with very few options to select from. I really wonder if the gold and diamond price of D'damas jewels depreciate with time when actually it has appreciated to nearly 3 times the price since I bought this product.
To my surprise when I got the same item evaluated from a different jeweller they say the quality of diamond was very bad (cut, clarity and colour) and it an eyewash to call it even a diamond. So is the certificate all false? I wonder if brand like ddamas disappoint and cheat their customers to this extent.
I seriously wish some action to be taken against these Cheaters - Geetanjali-D'damas brand.
