An Extraordinary Antibacterial Soap. Review on Dettol Soap

Around 4 years ago, after my lengthy North-India Tour, I developed some skin problems, which was the impact of the extremely hot climatic conditions of the Northern part of the country. Although I am accustomed to the hot, hotter & the hottest climate of Chennai, the most hottest type of weather in North India was something really unendurable.

Those were times when I used to have my bath in Doy Cream Soap. But due to my skin blisters, my family doctor prescribed Hamam which really didn?t help much in solving my quandary. But then, my doctor advised me to try the DETTOL SOAP to at least try to avoid further development of the problem.

My first impression about Dettol Soap

As per the doctor?s advice, I bought Dettol Soap from my regular shopping place. From its outer covering, it was somewhat resembling the Neem kind of soaps having been wrapped in a dark green and white packaging. It was around INR 15/- (if I am right, for 75 gms) just in parity with my regular Cream soap. So cost aspect was nothing much conspicuous or to be worried of.

The Day 1 I opened the wrapper of the Dettol Soap, the first noticeable thing to me about the soap was its ODD FRAGRANCE. My Washroom was stenching more like a Nursing Home or a Doctor?s Clinic !!!!! Obviously, having been strictly habituated to the aroma of beauty soaps like Lux, Doy etc. my very first impression about Dettol Soap itself was most REPULSIVE. But its my doctor who had advised me to use it and so I thought of sticking on to his advice. So, I continued to use Dettol Soap for the next one week & what a surprise ? it did do wonders to my skin problem !!!

Yes, I myself couldn?t really believe it ??.. I had almost been suffering for more than about 10 days from some skin infection after my North India Tour, but Dettol Soap had almost cleared the sore-marks on my skin. In fact its smell was completely sickening to me but today my vote is absolutely for DETTOL SOAP only !!!

Dettol Soap

This is an excellent Antibacterial Soap having versatile cleansing properties. Due to my personal experiences with the Soap, I would say that it is rather an excellent product which has been proven to kill the most dangerous bacteria and germs on the Skin including those most hazardous and treacherous germs like ?COLI? and ?SALMONELLA?.

Ingredients of Dettol Soap

The Major Ingredient of Dettol Soap include :

? Sodium Palmate

? Sodium Palm Kernelate

? Parfum

? Glycerin

? Chloroxylenol

? Triclosan

? Tetrasodium EDTA

? Etidronic acid

Most of the above ingredients act as powerful tools for destroying the dangerous germs and bacteria on the Skin.

Price of Dettol Soap

Dettol Soap is available in the market as 75 Gms Bar as well as 125 Gms Bar. They cost around INR 15/- and INR 28/- respectively. Having good Antibacterial Properties, my personal feeling is that it is definitely worth spending this amount on Dettol Soap as is done by us on other beauty soaps.

Whom is the Dettol Soap Appropriate For ?

It is quite surprising to see that many men use Dettol Soap as their regular bathing soap. The first time I saw Dettol Soap in my Husband?s Wash Room, I really startlingly asked him how he could use it as his regular bathing soap despite its Odd Odour. He was very confident about the wonderful property of Dettol Soap which helps to get him rid of his perspiration odour.

Conclusion:

Many people may express remarks of disapproval of the noticeable medicinal fragrance of Dettol Soap but in view of its excellent properties, the smell becomes inconsequential. Due to its exceptional antibacterial protection and based on the plentiful satisfactory feeling of many of the regular users of Dettol Soap and having myself used it for quite a long period, I do recommend the usage of Dettol Soap to my dear MS Friends.

Also, the latest improved version of Dettol Soap which comes in an Orange Wrapper almost costing a similar price, has been specially constituent with Moisturisers which retains the moisture of the skin & avoid dehydration of the skin and leaves the skin clean and fresh. This newer version also has a better fragrance when compared with the older pack of white & green wrapper.

So, my request to my dear friends is, please don?t ignore this wonderful medicinal soap due to its different Odour. This Soap is as good as your other Soaps like Hamam, Margo & Medimix. Only Best Results are important as far as the usage of Bathing Soaps are concerned.
