I have been flying Delta for years since 1985 when I took my first flight from Bombay {those days} to JFK and back.Delta took over PAN AM airlines and started the business.
Most of the time I flew in business class{ more then 18 round trips to US} and service use to be good earlier days. Now even business class is also average when compared with other airlines like British air ways,Cathey Pacific, Singapore air lines or Korean airlines Asian flyers.
The aircraft are gone old and seats are not that cozy. Last year I travelled in economy from Mumbai to JFK and back and service was most average. Flight attendent are not at all impressive, I do agree food is also average when comes to Veg.
The craze of flying Delta is gone. We were corporate customer of Delta for years but have changed to other airlines for last 5 years. These days I will not recommend Delta unless one is looking out for Student fairs which are less or sometimes better deals. They do have good routes within USA, but you have better optios in US which are cheapers.
