Before switching to HP I was using the same 3542 notebook model and have observed a few demerits of this system is does not give you Windows - it comes with Linux. SO, you have to spend a good amount to purchase original Windows. It also gives you Intel HD Graphics which is nothing but integrated graphics. The quality is not that good if you are fond of gaming etc. You have to install graphics card. Speakers with MaxxAudio 4 is not able to produce enough sound - you have to install VLC player and boost up to 200%. That is again bad for motherboard or speakers. Has no HDMI port and it does not give you any bag.
Finishing is not cool. A glossy finish.
Not a good value for money. It is kind of overpriced.
Not bad. They response instantly.
