Too many sections in each class(last heard it was A to N) and the children to teacher ratio, is very bad. Each class has about 42 students.
Money(cash) is collected during the academic session(apart from fees) in name of magazines, mandatory(but not mandatory!) special classes etc(there's an outsourced special class for sports too! inspite of collecting fees!).
Imagine your ward carrying around 5k in cash to be paid to these so called mandatory/but not mandatory classes/magazines/events etc.
The school doesn't even distribute sweets/chocolates for the kids during the festivals/national holidays!. The children are asked to bring the sweets from their home!
After school sports is another sham. No monitoring of this class, the coaches etc. The fee is separate for after school sports.
No option to take up Sanskrit as third language, if your ward takes up Kannada as second language(talk abt children rights!)
Some teachers are good. There is no continuity regarding monitoring of students from one class to other. The school/teacher doesn't care how the student did the previous academic year, the feedback of the previous year's teachers is totally ignored and wasted.
