Originality:

Some times I feel like screaming out from my window on a rainy day to let the world know that I’m alive… For a fact I’m sure many will not pass this way since most of the people don’t like the term pretty much. The term that will blow your mind away called as ‘ROCK’. Am I going to talk here about the legend band Deep Purple? Hey brother, you are right and I am going to SCREAM about DEEP PURPLE and the footsteps they left for the rest. Now I am going to crack the mirrors playing one of their songs which of course many of you would sing along with them and I play ‘Smoke on the water’.

Probably one of the loudest bands at one point of time and with the same energetic level they sang for us in India (Bangalore) last year. At times I feel quite low and all those who think that DEEP PURPLE is all about ROCK should rather get back to their slow one’s that make one sit back and wonder why they aren’t screaming. ‘Soldier of fortune’ takes my breath away. So do ‘When a blind man cries’. They have passion in portraying characters through their lyrics and singing with ‘life’ which may let anybody wonder if one had to go listen to the world of rock ‘n’ roll then it has to be DEEP PURPLE.

High way star and I, in a crowded street:

I was quite fascinated the way Ritchie Blackmore flipped his hands through the guitar and one must listen to this song to play the chords he tried hard for what we call ‘uniqueness’. Truly a masterpiece and I sit in a crowded place and wonder wandering the effort they have taken to initiate building up a team of their members. So who are they?

An English band formed back in 1968 with their Heavy Metal or Hard Rock genre in Hertfordshire? The band consists of Ian Gillan (Vocals), Ritchie Blackmore (guitar), Jon Lord (keyboards), Roger Glover (bass guitar) and Ian Paice (drums).

Why DEEP PURPLE? They are Heavy but still…

And we sang along with ‘sweet child in time’ and I have no clue why Anu Malik copied this song in Akele Hum Akele Tu Wish if they had given an Oscar for those who copy the best songs to create hype here however it’s just a frustrating fact that many don’t get boosted by listening over to the original version of the same. Let me stick to my topic. Where were we? Alright, so a band that’s not tired at all in organizing concerts and perhaps this is one band that have toured the most since 1968. This has many written proof in which they got an award for selling 150, 000 tickets in France with 40 dates in the country. Did you hear it right? Yes, indeed you are reading about DEEP PURPLE.

Mic Check, SMOKE ON THE WATER:

Do I need to sing? Scream or bang my head? I am perplexed and I see many banging their head over their tune. This is rock, stay tuned. So who are the world’s most selling music artists? Crossing over 100 million records it’s insane to talk about their records and where they actually stand. Perhaps, I can avoid Beatles and many from the list who in fact formed the group little earlier from Deep Purple.

Ian, pitch in to a slow track and here he goes:

‘I have often told you stories about the way; I lived my life like a drifter’ Hope you will not miss out this track. I feel like I’m growing older. And of course the songs that they have sung echo all way from a hill…

It’s a ‘Black Night’:

Morse, yes, he writes funky stuff. And one may not get to listen much of the same from any other band in the world. When I say ‘not any’ I really mean it. Gillan sings with lots of passion and he amazed me when he sang ‘Perfect Strangers’ and his ability to go anywhere full throated and eyes focused. Well focused I must confide. Oh my rival, I am your echo of the past. And do I need to say if there needs to come up with any comparison along with world’s one of the oldest bands?

Buddy, what you just sang is not ‘rock’ neither it can ‘roll’ anybody:

Have you heard that there is no ‘Laughing in heaven’? Well, Gillan talks about ‘Money Talks’ and ‘Fireballs’. Not forever but they are still taking the long way through the rough course called Rock. Perhaps not anymore the loudest of all however, they are in the same league. And not giving their kingdom to anybody and standing still screaming, and at times crying for many. I am just one among them and if you happen to feel the same like how I feel, then brother, sister, you are not alone.

To Conclude:

Every Band has a character. Like if you ask me in detail then I am not the perfect soul out here to describe but I guess Deep Purple clearly shows and of course their fans do point out the basic characteristics of this Rock Band. And I am sure you would ask me to pen down and I will…

They are intense, fearless, full of fire and passionate. Now if you give in a try listening to some of their songs then you may switch on you system to buffer Child in time, Perfect Stranger, Smoke on the water, Soldier of fortune, Highway star, I am missing out some Heavy stuff) but yea Some times I feel like screaming.
