Story:

The book is about a meteorite that is found on the Arctic Circle on an Ice Glacier. And there is existence along with plausible explanations of proving the presence of extraterrestrial life in the meteorite. Various civilian Scientists and researchers were being called to carefully experiment the meteorite. The scientists were expected to prove its authenticity, with their extended expertise.

And with assumption the the rock is a meteorite they are all able to run tests and prove the meteorite was real.

The other shore of the story is displaying the White House and the upcoming presidential elections, and how the Senator is opposing the then government by his key of NASA funding and its privatization, in order to prove his worth. The President is a good and Honest man, he is in favor of the association and believes in the works of NASA and its contribution, though, billions of funds are being favored to NASA. There is the Daughter of the Senator Sexton, Rachel Sexton. She is a'gister' at NRO, an organisation of the White House, though they do not work for the President. So, she is sent to the Glacier to assist the authenticity of the meteorite. She relates the experiences very well and of course her resilience in every situation is praiseworthy.

Later there is a twist in the story, they find certain records proving that the meteorite was a fake. The legacy of the scientists was proved wrong due to the dubious findings of their counterparts. The 'they' here refers to the Civilian scientists and Rachel. They keep digging the truth in the direction opposite to proving the existence of a real meteorite. Though they succeed but with the loss of 2 Civilian Scientists, Wailee Ming and Norah Mangor. With their additional survival tactics are then questioned by the attackers of some Operations team. The target was to stop them from revealing the truth, so they had to be terminated., In spite of the best efforts by the Operations they are not able to kill the 3 left, they were Corky Marlinson, Michael Tolland and Rachel Sexton. Here is where the story gets very thrilling. They survive till long and reach many different places in order to escape their deaths and reveal the truth to the president.

Senator's campaign against the NASA was proving worthless, and his career is getting crashed, due to his loftiest ambition and Ego of becoming the president, he was totally blind. Gabrielle Ashe, his secretary is worth a lady in her job. She has done pretty well in the Washington D.C.

They are various other characters such as NRO Director William Pickering, senior advisor to the President, Marjorie Tench. Their role has been very widely described.

The  book is very thrilling.  Every 3rd chapter, you get to know something unexpected and beyond your imaginations. I was awestruck after I found the responsible authorities behind the making of a fake meteorite.Though the starting 100 pages very actually very boring, I did not feel like proceeding further, but as soon the thriller part starts, your adrenaline is just driven up as you turn pages each carefully reading.

What happens to Rachel, Corky and Michael? Do they Survive or do they bury the truth with their graves?

Will Zach Herney be able to accept such findings?

There were various discrepancies in the book, but it might be a part of the story, I might have not understood the plot properly. That does not obviously mean that the book is not worth it.

Dan Brown has tried his very best in making the book a Grandeur, his efforts are very highly pin pointed and praiseworthy. Hats Off to the author for this book.

Everyone who is interested in such thrillers must read this book once in order to witness the presence of thrill in the book.
