Well since last few months I was confused which1 to buy between Microsoft Zune HD, Sony x-walkman series & Cowon s9 32gb.
But in Zune HD they do not have shortcut keys to change volume and play/pause or fwd/rew buttons. For that you got to look into the screen and then change.
In Sony x-walkman series, first of all its costly, 4 to 5k extra than cowon s9 32gb, sound wise both r same, , , donno whether sony x-walkman sounds better than cowon s9?
and there is no TV-out feature. And its not yet launched in india so no futher q to compare it.
Well so finally I had got my best Cowon s9 winning this match and finally I bought it from Lipap, though if u go online and try to purchase it online from Amazon.com website, they selling it for $ 260/- that means arnd Rs 15000/- u getting, a player with usb charger and leather cover. But never did shopping online in dollars so had no idea how to buy from US websites.
so lets talk abt cowon s9 now, sound wise, , , amazing, , i tried its BBE feature..but I created my own EQ under User and man...it sounds so amzing, , , ...i ll show u snapshot of that later..
and abt its other feature...radio is excellent, ...amazing touch screen, I dont understand those people who r saying its not good..not smooth...well im sorry to say but...i guess if thats right then I got a good peace caz its touch screen amazing, , , ..as soon as I place my finger tip on that..it starts moving...so I would give 9 out of 10.
sound 9.5 out of 10, radio 8.5 out of 10, and there is a game Hunter, , , , not so kool, , , and I loved its Notepad feature, , u can write ne thing there...make colorful drawing, ....anything man, ...then...i updated it with latest 2.51 version, , , i got extra theme features, , , , really great and new widget also great, ....video...wow...very nice, and no tension of converting every video as it plays almost all(mostly as we do avi and wma) so no need of conversion, I saw few hindi and english movie on that.
Now except one thing, I guess its the best, , , , the prob I have faced so far is in battery part. I used to think it gives 55hrs of playback battery life, ....but...i m sorry to say...i got only 11hrs, , , that inclused 3hrs of video and few hrs of playing with the screen and its item and 5 to 6hrs audio. Well let me tell u one more thing, , , i was listening on 30+ volume, so I later came to know due to this also battery power goes off.....so...after that I started listening on lower volume under 20, , , , and only audio then I get good no of hours but I dont think...even 20hrs it will give me with just audio, ....sorry people if I disappointed u....and if ne1 hre getting more than 20+ hrs then plz let me know the funda behind that.....and now abt its advertisment, , , well cowon is not popular in india infact nobody knows what is cowon....so cowon people really needs to do some good advertisements so that other music lovers too can enjoy great sound of this lil PMP. So overall I would give it 8 out of 10...as that battery prob really led me down man....otherwise besides that...i dont think u ll complain abt ne other its feature...and man its 32gb...i dont think it will ever get full, , , , , neways im loving it and enjoying it...and every1 just stare it when they see it..and ask me abt this lil beauty.....trsut me...it looks great in ur hand...i got Titatnium black as only that colow is available in india but its best...as it wont leave ne finger prints on the side screen.....rest will update u after soemtime..sorry couldnt upload ne pic....
