This rating is for our stay at The Country Club Rock Springs, Cochin. I am writing this review out of concern for the people who are planning to visit this resort in near future. Well, to be frank there nothing good to write about this place. We landed at Cochin airport on 6th Oct, 2016 and planned to stay two nights at Country club Rock springs resort before moving to Munnar. However reaching to the place was itself a big challenge. It was approx 45 kms from the Kochi airport on the outskirts of the city and there were no sign boards at all. Fortunately our driver had some information about the place as he resided close by. Otherwise we would have been roaming around for hours. And as soon as we reached the place, we felt as if we came to the wrong resort as it was looking like a very cheap one. It cannot be called a standard resort from any angle and was spoiling the brand image of Country Club. The room was in very bad condition, fortunately the A/C was working but no remote for temperature regulations. The bathroom was in horrible condition which had a very bad smell. Water in the pond was dirty. The pond is connected to the backwaters, so we can't really expect better quality water in the pond than the dirty water in the backwater lake. It was a very tough first night in Kerala and we were just waiting for the sunrise so that we can just move on from this place to Munnar. I never speak bad about food, so here I would say "No, comments"! Please avoid! Only good thing about the property was that, there was lot of greenery around and lake view was OK. Finally, to sum it up I will never ever suggest this place to anyone unless if I want to punish someone. One can only plan to visit here once the country club management give this resort priority and renovate the same.
