It was 5th march 2006 we played holy from morning 7 to 1 in the noon & went to bath in canal & came back around 2 & were resting in my friend room & started talking about what we have done in these 2 years of engineering life, till now we haven't thought of tripping around, so we(8 friends) decided going somewhere, found a karnataka map n the corner of room & everyone were suggesting there places & we all finally decided to go to madkeri, we had too many things to do, had to convince parents, adjust money from all possible ways for our extra expenses.
We all gathered in kirans around 8 pm, till now we have not booked a vehicle & all were ready to leave n kirans home, so few of us went to to some tourist centre & finally found a tata sumo & decided to leave in Morning 4, we came back home & enjoyed whole night playing carom, watched movie no one slept whole night.
Our driver came around 4 near home, kirans parents wished all of us, they kept some lighted agarbatthis inside sumo & prayed for our safe journey, we traveled for few km's & all were eager to have some tea & smoke as the weather was chilling, we stopped to have tea & after that journey to madkeri began.
It was around 300 KMs from my city(Davangere), we enjoyed the journey towards kushal nagar, we saw sun rise when we were near to kushal nagar, captured some snaps, all were giving there prominent poses. We reached madkeri around 9.30 kept our all bags in lodge & got freshen up & went to have breakfast.
Around 10.30 we left to talakaveri where there is a temple & a tank whch is said its the orgin of the river talakaveri & when we come down we wll get triveni sangama, where 3 trivers meet at one place.
We went to abby falls, as it was march there was less water there so we went downwords into water & played for aboout 3-4 hours in water, if you go in rainy season you will not be allowed to go down, you have to watch the falls from hanging bridge itself, we were lucky to go down & enjoyed.
In the evening we went to Raja seat, there is nothing much to see there its a park, & a view point where you will get a very good scene in evening & there is a small train which will take you a round to show some top view from hills for about 10-15 minutes.
Next Morning we went to Nisarga dhama, i loved this place, its wild life sanctuary surrounded by river, its like an island, as it was not a rainy season we got chance to go into river whiiich had less water & enjoyed.There are stay homes & Elphent rides, lots of things to see.
Last but not the least Tibetian colony near to kushal nagar, a colony off tibetans & there temple its built very beautifully, the temple, shopping centre, .....
So, we finally finished our Two day trip to Madkeri with a sunset near tibetian colony, everybody were tierd very much & we reached home around 12 midnight & all fell unconscious till morning 10 in kirans home & went to our respective homes.
It was in third year we started trpping, by the end of our engineering we covered almost all places in karnataka around 10 trips in two years.
