I wanted to solve a book that would clear the basic concepts, though I was recommended to buy Concepts of Physics - HC Verma both volumes by my teachers and my friends and I get one.
Book composes of small theory having a number of questions including objective as well as subjective. The best part of the book that I like the most is that the questions of every chapter are organised in such a way that if there are 10 concepts than you will find questions one by one and will move through all the concepts. The level of questions increases uniformly as the serial number of questions, this helps to clear the concepts. The mechanics part is best that I like.
The language and the illustrations of the theory is not in very deep but its okay for revision. I do not recommend it for 1st timers. The language and writing of question are in such a way that it is easy to understand what is behind the question.
Level of questions is more than C.B.S.E. books but not more than books like Irodov or some other. It is a good book to grab the basic knowledge of the subject.
