I do not visit mouthshut.com a lot, but thanks to Jasmine, she has pulled me in. I happen to see the outburst of Sagrika( I hope this much liberty can be taken from the respected members), and would agree to her to a large extent. This medium, which we are using to express our openion, should have some code of practices; one of which should be deletion of personal comments from the text.( even this review has them)
When we write reviews, we sit on judgmental chair and write our personal openions. At times, it may be loaded with the biases. So, its important that we comment on the merit and not on the person, so that our personal biases are nullified to an extent.
Media is power and everybody who is using this should use it sensibly; else it could be very misleading and inappropriate for the purpose.
I hope this would be seen in the right context.
