A treat for thriller readers. Review on Coma - Robin Cook

Today I am going to review a book by Robin Cook titles as Coma. The story of this book revolves around a hospital in Boston commonly called as Boston memorial Hospital in USA. Our main character is a girl who is 3rd year medical student at the hospital. I have to say that the writer knows what she is doing. She portrayed the lady doctor character so well that I feel connected to the story all the time. The story includes the mysterious patients which went to COMA after a surgery performed by Dr. Susan Wheeler(Main character). She is curious to know what is happening with her patients as she doing the surgery perfectly with no chances of errors. So starts digging the patients history and other hospital records. She finds out that the oxygen supply of the patients has been tempered and instead of oxygen, carbon mono-oxide has been given to patients after they are discharged from surgery which leads to the state of COMA. She further discovered that the hospital is involved in harvesting organs from the patients and selling them to the patients who gives more money. She further discovered that the patient from which organs are harvested are not naturally died patients they are the patients who are killed by the hospital in order to procure the organs from their body and that is when she connected the whole story of patients going to COMA and never came back. Overall it was a god read with good amount of thrill in it. Any body who loves thrill reading will love it.
