Compared to the Pi** quality beer sold by the No 1 Beer Maker in India and other beers available, this should defeinitely be the best beer available in India. Its another matter that this has been validated in the La Monde Beer Show in France, where apparantly Cobra has won 6 major awards. Have tried this in UK couple of times where this is sold in all Curry Houses but didnt find it so great compared to the other decent European Beers like Heinekein,Becks,Stella and ofcourse the King of all Beers - BudVar( No its not the American Budvieser but the actual original Chekeslovakian Bud only avble in Europe)..
However coming back to India, I think we greatly siffer from lack of a decent Beer and are swamped by the Kingpisser..which I really hate for its pungent taste..Against this backdrop, Cobra Beer to me is a real saviour with very clean crispy taste and no burps to upset your girlfriend/wife as there is very less fizz in it which was purposefully made to go along with heavy Indian food. Wish they retain the quality and taste for some time to come atleast until all the worlds best beers come to India...
