Clumax diagnostics is recommended by most doctors in Kormangala(maybe they have a commission) Ok, so now the slashing starts. First of all its overtly expensive.The same MRI which costed me Rs.5000 in Hosmet, costs me Rs.6500. When I asked, one of the guys told me, "While scanning, if we see any issue, we scan deeper getting much more info than other diagnostics"
So, finally, when my mom was taken for the scan I spoke to the guy who was doing the MRI scan and realized that all he knows is to use the equipment with no idea of issues to scan deeply and all the bull-s that I was told to explain the high cost. Fine, I decided to just believe that maybe they actually have something great that I am not aware of. The scan was done on Monday night and I was told that the report would be ready by Tuesday afternoon and dispatched by courier so that it will reach me by Wednesday afternoon.
So, I booked an appointment with the doc for Wednesday night. Obviously the report did not reach on Wednesday and when I Called up to ask, I had to face rude staff that kept putting me on hold and finally, when I asked why I was not informed that the report had been delayed by a day, they say, "Its not our fault, we are too busy. If it is that urgent, why don't you come and collect it. We will dispatch it today, after that you track it with the courier guy". An apology for this not only missing, but he had the audacity to bang the phone. If my house was not that far, why would I have asked for a courier in the first place seemed elusive to the rude staff.
When I Called to place a complaint for the rude behavior, the reception did not transfer the call to their manager. They supposedly provide pick-up and drop, but they make you go by a lousy ambulance, though they can give a car. I mean, if they are charging Rs.1500 more than normal, they ought to give extra services.Staff is too used to banging phones. The only advantage that I saw was that it is open 24hours. They are hasty to book appointments, but too busy to handle them. Even when I booked the car, I was strictly asked to be home by 5:00pm, but the guy came only by 7:30. I was not called to inform & when I called to ask why the guy was not there, I faced rude replies saying, if I can't wait, then, I better come on my own and the phone was banged. Service industry people dealing with patients at a minimum need to be courteous which the staff of this place are far from. They seem to be trained in being rude and banging phones, Thank-you and sorry are words they are taught to forget.They have no concern for the patient or their time.
