I wish I had gone through this site of yours regarding CM 2 years back; so that I would have not wasted my precious and hard earned money on this silly time share business. Before becoming a BAKRA ( yup thats the right word ) I had managed not to fall in the SALES TRAP of CM twice; as I calculated the outgoing sand other financial calculations.
But somehow the greed to become a esteemed " MEMBER " of a reputed MAHINDRA name got the better of me and I myself called the rep to show the presentation-and paid for the membership .
All went nice till the time we enjoyed our initial FREE holidays of CM and as well of RCI. But what followed after that was the biggest nightmareof my life which stills haunts me. Our holiday at CM's associate RESORT at Panchgani( We went there in last Diwali ) was the worst thing which happened to us. Absolutely disgusting and ridiculous resort. I had not paid my money to go to such. a third rate resort according to CM 's salesman's rosy picture.
How could a calculated person like me fall in to this trap. GREED and STATUS. Yes that's the ploy used by the aggressive sales people. They know that some where a person wants to show off his STATUS and the minute they see your slightest inclination you are sucked in to their trap. We wanted to book our holidays for this Diwali. I applied exactly on the 1st day and 1st minute of booking but was surprised to see all tha dates FULLI for my 1st and 2nd preference locations.
But the 3rd location ( GOA ) was confirmed even without asking me whether I am interested or not. I questioned them by sending mails. But everytime the mail / request history showed that my issue / qeuries were resolved. Resolved by whom ? . Without having any dialogue with me how can the company resolve an issue.The e-mail answers were all type cast. Thats the time I decided to sell my membership.
