With much enthusiasm and excitement, I enrolled fro a RED category membership fro a one bedroom apt with Club Mahindra on a down payment of 1.16 lacs and the balance over one year. What was promised at the time of signing is the following:




  • 2 weeks holiday with CM in RED over 2 years




  • 2 years with RCI in RED over 2 years




  • Laptop




  • Food vouchers fro 5K




  • Cash rebate of 10K fro introductions to be provided by CM






My woes began immediately post that when I got the official communication of my membership with the following shortcomings:




  • the complementary holidays were valid fro only 1 year and not 2 years




  • the complementary holidays were downgraded from RED to BLUE and off-peak season




  • No splitting was allowed i.e. the entire complementary holiday of 2+2 weeks without splitting was to be availed off in 1 year






I wrote to CM within 24 hours of receipt of their communication with arequest fro cancellation but was told that changes were not possible. I requested fro cancellation but was told that money cant be refunded since the free look period of 15 days had elapsed. Thereafter, I chased CM over phone, SMSs, emails over atleast 2 dozen times, each time being told that they are examining and would revert. And obviously none did. I left several messages to speak with their Delhi Branch Head or their Head of Customer Relations -but customer once signed up and paid is last on their priority. After much follow up and frustaration, CM agreed to refund the amount paid. This was received after more than 2 months of paying up during which CM merrily enjoyed my moneys.


And thus came to end my much expected holiday plan fro 25 years. CM is an unresponsive organization, interested only in new sign ups and collection of moneys!
