I got a call from Club Mahindra Holidays salesperson saying that I have won a free holiday trip to any of their resorts and he asked me to visit him at their brach office at DT Mega Mall Gurgaon. When I went there, he gave me a nice presentation about their resorts and asked me to join their membership because there was a scheme under which I would get a LCD TV and the it was the last day for that scheme. I said I need some time to decide. On this the salesperson promised that even if I withdraw later, he will take care to refund all my money back.
- This was the trap where I was caught and I paid the initail amount of 25 thousand rupees. Next day I visited mouthshut.com and found several negative reviews about Club Mahindra. Still not believeing the reviews I asked about Club Mahindra Halidays in the locality I live in. People said - Don't ever believe Club Mahindra. Their service is pathetic and they charge heavily.
Next day I called the Club Mahindra salesperson and asked him to cancel my membership. He asked me 100 questions and tried hard to convince me. Then he asked me to visit their office and give it in writing. I did that and it is 4 months now and no sign of payment return. They don't even pick my phone now.
I feel cheated and now going to file a complaint in the consumer court. My advice to everyone - Stay away from Club Mahindra.
