The overall experience was good and we had a leisure time. Pools are good, but with lots of chlorine and bleaching powder. Food was good, lots of choice for vegetarians. Courteous staff and overall well maintained place. The bridge to cross over to reach to the beach is very dirty filled with drainage water and smells yuck.
The ambience at the reception is very good and soothing but a little suffocating due to lack of ventilation.
The staffs are very courteous and helpful.
Food tastes good.
The biggest turn-off was swimming pool. The pools look good but are badly maintained with over usage of chlorine and bleaching powder; your eyes will have irritating sensation when you come out of the pool.
We were initially allotted a room in the old building block which was very small, not clean and not up to Club Mahindra standard, later on request, we were moved to the main building where the rooms are mod and fine.
Staff, though are courteous are non-responsive at times (especially the front desk). They need to be reminded and followed up frequently (in my case for room change, getting print of my ticket, late checkout request etc), but the house keeping staff are very good.
There is no free flowing hot water, you will get a bucket of hot water from geyser and wait for 15 mins to next bucket. This is not expected from a 5-star resort. Also the towels smell smoky.
